Our Spotlight member for October is Liisa Peltomaa. Liisa Peltomaa is a founding member of Gamma Chapter, Finland and has been actively involved in DKG activities since 1975.
During her 50 year membership Liisa has served as the Chapter and State as President. She has also served as a member of several International Committees.
As a university lecturer, she has been involved in planning and creating new training methods and materials, finding exchange programs for students, and maintaining contacts with both other academic institutions and working life.
As a DKG member, she has organized excursions, cultural activities and conferences at all three levels of our Society. She served as Finland’s State President several biennials, participated in Golden Gift, and received the European Achievement Award.
Liisa has been a source of inspiration for members in Finland with her energy and dedication to DKG. She has welcomed Finland members in a truly engaging way and helped them to see the significance of leadership and working together.
We are proud to Spotlight Liisa Peltomaa as a true example of dedication to DKG.
